New Pawsibilities
About Us
Isha Singh
Hi, I’m Isha and I’m the founder of New Pawsibilities (GTLP). I have loved animals for as long as I can remember and have always been extremely passionate about advocating and spreading awareness for animal welfare issues. Ever since my fourth teacher showed my class a short documentary about the horrific nature of animal abuse, which is still so prevalent around our globe, I decided that I would take it upon my own shoulders to help fight for change for these voiceless and innocent creatures. That year, I founded a club called Got-to-Love-Paws in which a few friends and I sold handmade bracelets and other goods and donated all proceeds to animal shelters or animal rescue groups. A few years later I decided to rebrand the club to have a more focused purpose and a different approach to raising funds with the new name New Pawsibilities and Virgo as the logo.
I was blessed with this little cute pumpkin in fourth grade (yes, fourth grade was a monumental year for me) and he has been an inspiration for much of my animal advocacy. He was an extremely friendly (and pampered) pupper.
My whole world changed when he tragically passed away last October in an accident. My family and I took a long time to heal from the loss and since I have decided to make New Pawsibilities in his honor since he was the inspiration for so many of my life’s endeavors
Riya Upadhyay
Hi ! I'm Riya, one of the leaders in New Pawsibilities. I have always loved animals and find them a truly beautiful part of our world. When I see them being treated terribly, I feel disappointed in mankind for not empathizing with, or respecting these voiceless beings. By helping start this non profit, I now have the resources and support needed to create a better environment for lovable pets that are in shelters, on the streets, neglected, and/or abused. I have always wanted to help others in fighting for our companions and give back the happiness that these amazing animals have given us. Prior to N.P, my friend (Isha) and I used to collect money for pets left behind during Hurricane Harvey, I volunteered at our local animal shelter, and participated in an animal related club (JPaws) in my high school. Now I am ready to make an even bigger difference.
This is my 1 year old German Shepard, Rani (Queen). The name does not lie, she completely regards herself as royalty and is treated as such. Although my parents were against having a dog in the beginning, they have come around completely. Rani brings happiness and energy into our home that we didn't have before. When is she isn't guarding the house or continuously barking, she is usually snuggled up next to me or my mom. I don't know what I would do without this cutie.
Ritvik Manda
Hey guys! My name is Ritvik Manda, I'm a rising senior at John P. Stevens High School. Ever since I was little, I have always wanted a dog. I used to beg my mom day and night for a dog, but we never got one until three years ago - and that was when passion flowered. In those three years, my love for my dog and other animals grew immensely and with the help of New Pawsibilities, I can use my passion for the greater good of animals! I am proud to be part of this organization!
This is Romeo. He can sit, shake hands, jump through a hoop, but the trick he knows the best would be barking. He uses his barking power to fight off his haters and let me tell you something: he’s really good at it… so good that his haters don’t even come back for round two! What I’m saying is, he doesn’t like other people, but give him some time… he will eventually get there.

Tanuj Vemuri
Hey, this is Tanuj! I’m a rising senior at JP Stevens! I cannot put words how excited I am to be a part of New Pawsibilities. Though I don’t have a pet myself, I’ve always been passionate and have loved our furry friends. With New Pawsibilities, I hope to fulfill that passion by helping raise money and donating to local shelters and other causes. With your support, we can ensure that our furry friends can have everything they need to live a happy life!
Aaryaman Thuloj
Hey guys! My name is Aaryaman and I’m a rising senior from New Jersey. I have had all sorts of pets throughout my life, such as over 50 fish, 5 birds, and a dog, at different points. Because I was taught from a young age to respect all forms of life and animals, as well as growing up around animals at all times, I always could not bear to see the plight of any animals, pets or otherwise, and always wished I could do something to help. With the formation of New Pawsiblities, I am now empowered to make a change in these animals lives as well as spread awareness of any issues in the field.
This is my three year old Siberian Husky, Cupid. Even when we first got him at three months old, he was extremely calm for a dog of his breed, and was always pushed around by his younger brother. However, although he is still calm and not crazy, he has now developed the alpha instincts that are so common in his breed. He loves our entire family deeply, and is very attached to us, becoming protective even at the touch of others, and greets everyone he meets with a jump up onto them. Don’t ask about the name, my sister made it, and I didn’t get a say.
Chloe Moy
Hi, my name is Chloe Moy and I’m so happy to be part of New Pawsibilities Inc! I think that it’s paramount that we support and help all animals because they undoubtedly show unconditional love for us! Because animals cannot advocate for themselves, it is our responsibility to stand up for them. Through New Pawsibilities Inc, I am devoted to ensure that all animals are provided and cared for with proper supplies and that no animals are left behind!
Vibha Kandpal
Hey everyone! I'm Vibha and I'm beyond excited to be part of this organization. Animals are truly a godsend and it's only time that we return the love and support they give us. New Pawsibilities is one of few steps I've taken to work towards a career in veterinary medicine, where I can finally work directly to help animals. Previously, I have volunteered with the Edison Animal Shelter, fostered multiple stray cats, and am now working at a dog kennel. I'm thrilled to work with my friends to raise money and advocate for issues in order to create a better world for animals. With your help, we can create a voice for these pure creatures and provide them with the beautiful lives they deserve.
This is Nixon (yes, he was named after the President) and he was a stray we took in about five years ago. He can be found curled up in my lap, drinking water out of the toilet, or chasing a squirrel outside. Many people give in to the superstition that black cats are bad luck but I got super lucky when I found him outside! He is one of the sweetest cats I know and I look forward to waking up next to him every morning.
